More Nautical Nonsense

Over the holidays, my sister-in-law had a special request. She had mentioned to one of her students that I was drawing SpongeBob comics for Nickelodeon Magazine, and like most kids he is a fan of the show. But it turns out he is a HUGE fan of the show (hey, he has good taste!). So, she asked me if I wouldn't mind drawing up a personalized picture for him. This is what I came up with. It puts a smile on my face knowing I at least made one kid's day. I should use my powers for good more often.

Making little kids flip out is the best part about drawing SpongeBob!

I wouldn't be surprised if Andrew looks a lot like SpongeBob in this drawing when he sees what you've done! Awesome work man!

I hope he loves it! You should ask her to have him draw you one in return.

On another note- wait till I show you the 3d glasses for Coraline! They're big ol'thick black plastic frames! I'm so excited I'm not going to use an exclamation at the end of this sentence.

AWESOME flash tutorials, Bob! Followed by a bunch of really funny drawings.

I got to draw for a classroom full of kids on a volunteer outting and i felt like a ROCKSTAR. Kids are the best! I'm jealous that you got the opportunity to do this. And that you did such an AWESOME job! I haven't been commenting enough on this blog but I've sure got my eyes peeled.
