Biting down

That trademark Spongebob "teeth digging into lower lip" found its way into one of my doodles tonight. I think Goofy (the other great buck-toothed character) was known to do the same. Doesn't having two jutting out teeth lend itself to it so nicely? Almost like sticking a fork into a steak.

Wow, I never really thought about it but I draw that all the time also. Something about the look combined with drawing sharp objects going into soft flesh, great doodles as always!

Thanks, guys! Indeed, nothing like the soft flesh of the lower lip. "F" and "V" mouths are some of the most fun to draw for lip sync in animation, if you have a cartoony character to work with.
