An old birdhouse comic

I've been very busy as of late (but what else is new). I hope to be able to share some new comics with you soon. In the meantime, here's a comic that's nearly six years old—from 2005, I think. I'm pretty sure it was the first comic I drew after a 2-3 year hiatus, post my college strip, Blake. At the time I was all about this little birdhouse character (you may remember him?). I still have a longer story planned for the guy if I ever get around to it.

This is great, love the second to last panel! Interesting to see how your linework has changed since this comic (not that it sucks of course!) Your comics now are looser and seem to have more life to them than this does, the results I'm sure of you drawing like a madman all the time!

Hey, David! You are spot on about this. I now use a brushier line (this was drawn with a uniball pen), and I definitely try to infuse more life into every drawing. Not that I don't like these, but they are more straight up and down.

Things start to get fun in that second to last panel, as you pointed out. That's closer to where I am now, I think.
