A Dozen Faces

I'm normally inclined to draw weird animals and creatures. But you can get a lot of variety in a human face as well, which is something I have to remind myself of every so often. This gang of twelve is the result of a couple hours doodling in Flash.

  2. Thanks! I'm keeping an open file to keep adding to. I've been meaning to practice drawing people more, especially women.

  3. Love these! Especially the buck-toothed guy with glasses. Check out my blog, I did a similar excercise with faces just to see how many I could cram on a page, I really like how diverse your designs are.

  4. Double thanks! I just left a note on your blog, David. Indeed your exercise is of a similar vein...though you focus more on the face or expression (rather than the whole head of an individual character). My problem is I don't draw people (humans) as much as I should. So I get rusty. That was my attempt here...I'd love to do an expression exercise as well. I'll add that to the queue :)
