Come on!

I don't think you'd ever want to run into this guy. I dreamed him up doodling away in the studio today. Below is my pencil sketch, which I scanned and then inked in Flash. For those of you still plugging away at my inking tutorial, keep at it!

I was just going through files on my computer and noticed a bunch of random frog-related art that went nowhere. So here they are!


I was sketching out some ideas for a comic that needed some frogs. Below is my rough. Never inked it up. Still...a fun idea.

More Nautical Nonsense

Over the holidays, my sister-in-law had a special request. She had mentioned to one of her students that I was drawing SpongeBob comics for Nickelodeon Magazine, and like most kids he is a fan of the show. But it turns out he is a HUGE fan of the show (hey, he has good taste!). So, she asked me if I wouldn't mind drawing up a personalized picture for him. This is what I came up with. It puts a smile on my face knowing I at least made one kid's day. I should use my powers for good more often.
